This is a Custom Painted Lure on a Topwater Dart body. It weighs 3/8 of an ounce and is 4 inches long. It contains a Knocker and comes loaded with #2 SS Splits and #4 VMC Hooks.

When you snap the rod tip down from a position straight on with the lure, it will dart to one side or the other. An experienced angler can produce an erratic side-to-side action know as "walking the dog." This action can be done two or three times, stopped and repeated, or repeated all the way to the boat. The walking-the-dog technique is a truly effective way to entice a bass into striking the lure.
